Rope access harnesses
Designed for rope access, these harnesses allow the worker to be protected in the event of a fall and to position him/herself at the workstation. The gated ventral attachment point facilitates rope ascents and makes work in suspension more comfortable.
Optimal integration of equipment
The gated attachment point allows connection of:
- a CROLL ventral rope clamp on the ventral point for greater efficiency on rope ascents
- a PROGRESS lanyard directly to the ventral attachment point
- a PODIUM seat on the axle of the attachment point, allowing the load to be supported directly by the descender, while guaranteeing mobility at the ventral attachment point
Optimal organization of work tools
ASTRO harnesses are equipped with six equipment loops on the sides and at the rear of the waistbelt. They are shaped to facilitate clipping carabiners. Each harness also has retainers designed for the CARITOOL tool holder and the TOOLBAG pouch.
Ultra-comfortable design
The waistbelt and the leg loops of ASTRO harnesses are semi-rigid and wide in order to limit pressure points and ensure effective support. These two zones are sculpted and lined with breathable foam padding for optimal comfort in suspension and good ventilation. This construction also facilitates harness donning.

The leg loops of ASTRO harnesses are equipped with FAST/FAST LT automatic buckles that facilitate donning the harness with both feet on the ground or with large footwear, without loss of adjustment, even when wearing gloves.

The waistbelt and shoulder straps are equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK/DOUBLEBACK PLUS buckles for quick and easy adjustment.

ASTRO BOD FAST
ASTRO BOD FAST full-body harnesses are equipped with a dorsal attachment point for attaching a fall arrest system. In case of a fall on this attachment point, a shortened adjustment of the waistbelt to leg loop length means the load is taken up on the leg loops, allowing the user to remain suspended longer while awaiting rescue.

Combining a seat harness with a separate chest harness is a more lightweight solution, if the user does not need a dorsal attachment point. It is also a solution for hard-to-fit body types, as it allows combining different seat and chest harness sizes.
