The NEOX® is an assisted blocking belay device for the gym and the crag. Ideal for belaying a lead climber, the integrated wheel allows you to smoothly and quickly pay out slack. The ergonomic handle provides comfortable descent control and the device can be used with single ropes from 8.5 to 11mm.

Here are Alex Megos and Michaela Kiersch to explain how the NEOX® works and share some tips for best use. The NEOX® may look like a GRIGRI, but with its internal mechanism, it functions differently. Of course, all belay devices have at least one thing in common: the requirement to always keep your hand on the brake side of the rope!
