What is Rigging for Rescue’s mission statement?
Rigging for Rescue offers a technical ropework seminar that is renowned for its focus on applying critical thinking and systems analysis skills required to competently incorporate ropework and rigging into effective rescue systems.

Briefly describe Rigging for Rescue’s history. 
Rigging for Rescue was founded in 1986 in Invermere, BC. Since January, 2002 we have been headquartered in Ouray, Colorado. We offer open enrollment seminars in four different locations: Ouray, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada; Moab, Utah; and Truckee, California. And we conduct training seminars on contracts around the world. 

How is Rigging for Rescue a leader for those you serve?
Our company is well respected within the rope rescue community for the work that we conduct involving research and testing on rope rescue systems and devices. We frequently present our research findings at the International Technical Rescue Symposium (ITRS). Rigging for Rescue is a leader in the community for the depth and breadth of our critical inquiries. Ropework practitioners rely upon us as a source of high-quality information for better understanding the capabilities and limitations of their own rope rescue systems. 



What does success look like to Rigging for Rescue? 
Success looks like a group of empowered training seminar participants at the end of a fulfilling week of training, having had their questions answered and armed with some effective ropework techniques to share with their team members. 

What is your favorite part about being a Petzl Technical Partner?
Our favorite part of being part of the PTP network is being partnered with a company that shares our company culture of seeking high quality deliverables for our clientele. 

What is your favorite Petzl product? Why?
Our favorite Petzl product is the Maestro. It is a simple, reliable, well-constructed and ergonomic descent control device, purpose-built with the rescue community in mind. The Maestro is a client favorite and the universal sentiment is how user-friendly it is to operate.
