AVAO: The Most Versatile Work at Height Harness

Because work at height often involves facing a variety of different work situations, Petzl designed a harness that can adapt to them all: the AVAO. Take on every task in comfort and compliance, whether it calls for fall arrest, work positioning, or suspension. From positioning at a work station to descending a rope, the AVAO is there. Now, workers at height can be ready to take on a wider range of work including framing and facades, towers, wind turbines, and MEWPs. With the AVAO, one harness does it all.

Different Work Situations, One Harness Range

The AVAO: Five different harness models and accessories to go with them. The AVAO is now available in the standard version with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles, or in the FAST version, with FAST opening buckles.

Each harness model is offered in a European Version (CE EN 361, EN 358, EN 813 certifications) and an International Version (ANSI Z359.11, ANSI Z459.1, NFPA 1983 class III, CSA Z259.10, CE EN 361, EN 358, EN 813, GB 6095: Q-W-Z certifications) with lanyard parking on the shoulder straps to help keep the lanyard out of your way but within reach.

 

Additionally, the AVAO SIT harness is designed for workers at height looking for a lightweight and modular solution. It can be turned into a full-body fall-arrest harness by connecting the TOP or TOP CROLL chest harnesses, available as accessories.

All AVAO harnesses are compatible with the PODIUM and LITEPOD work seats, for those who spend their days suspended in vertical environments.
