Choosing Your Carabiners

Features of Petzl Carabiners

Mousquetons Petzl, design intérieur fluide.

Fluid Interior Design

The fluid interior design of Petzl locking carabiners limits the risk of the nose getting caught while clipping and allows the carabiner to rotate more easily.

Mousquetons Petzl, Profil en H.

H-Frame

Carabiners have an H-frame that provides an optimal strength-to-weight ratio, protects the markings from abrasion, and offers excellent handling, even when wearing gloves.

Petzl carabiners, Keylock system.

Keylock System

To provide optimal efficiency, all Petzl carabiners use the Keylock system: the nose of the carabiner, where the body and gate meet, does not have a notch that could snag on anchors, ropes, harness equipment loops, or other gear.
